Mary Stevens, Director at Girl2Girls Empowerment Movement Sierra Leone. Mary is a feminist and social activist who joined G2G since inception and became the Director in January, 2021.
Since joining, Mary has led on a number of campaigns including the campaign to revoke ban on pregnant girls from attending formal school, domestication of Maputo protocol and supported the organization with the achievement of the 6th Edition of the Sierra Leone NGO Awards 2022. She was also recognized with an award as one of the top 100 women in corporate Sierra Leone in 2022.
Memunatu Squire, Project Officer at Girl2Girl Empowerment Movement Sierra Leone. Memunatu is a social activist who joined G2G last year, 2022.
Since joining Memunata has led on community outreach programmes, delivered key training around safeguarding and sexual violence as well as provides technical support to network members.
Adama Bangura, Finance and Admin officer at Girl2Girls Empowerment Movement Sierra Leone. Adama is a women’s empowerment champion who first joined G2G in 2016 and became Finance and Admin Officer last year,2022.
Since joining, Adama has managed budgets for key G2G campaigns and activities. As well as oversee G2G finances and organizational administration, staff and volunteer welfare.
Fatmata Kamara, Communication and Advocacy Assistant at Girl2Girl Empowerment Movement Sierra Leone. Fatmata is a social activist who joined G2G 2017 as a network member and became the communication and advocacy assistant in May, 2022.
Since joining Fatmata has been managing all things social media and supporting advocacy projects to amplify the issues that G2G work to end. Her work has been important in influencing policies on issues such as the campaign to end FGM and Sexual Gender-based Violence against women and girls.
